Designed by Vladimir Kagan for American Leather in the 1990's, these lounge chairs, aptly named "Rockstar" lounge chairs are just that-- rocking lounge chairs. These puffy, post-modern chairs sit on a pair of rounded sleigh legs and gently rock back and forth. With its curvy rounded body and angular lines, it's very much a classically designed Vladimir Kagan piece with a wonderful post modern flair. We chose to have these chairs upholstered in a supple high pile ivory boucle that just begs to be touched and sat in. Like oversized cotton balls, these chairs are comfort to the max-- with super soft high-density foam, these are the kind of chairs you're going to sink into; bring a good book and a bottle of wine-- because you'll be perched up in these for the night. This pair of black leather rocking armchairs are by Vladimir Kagan for the Kagan Collection, by American Leather (previously LeatherTech). Designed in circa 1997 and called the 'Rock Star' lounge chair due to its rocking chair abilities cleverly disguised underneath with hidden wooden runners and signature rounded form, the curved arms and integrated seat cushion gives the look of a molded chair. What's a huge upside about these examples are that they have LeatherTech labels underneath instead of the common and newer American Leather labels. In the 1990s the company was originally founded as LeatherTech and brought huge innovations into the furniture and design industry.
