About the Item
A intricately carved three seat settee with three part back in the classic Chippendale manner. The serpentine crest rail with scroll details and three openwork carved splats with ribbons, bows and leaves. The curved arms with supports decorated with acanthus leaves. Raised on cabriole front legs with carved knees with acanthus leaves, ending in ball-and-claw feet, and curved square back legs. The slip seat upholstered in a pale yellow foliate damask,

Condition: Please see detail photos. The overall condition is very good with acceptable age-related wear including a few spots on the right corner of the seat which does not detract from the refined presentation.
