This 19th Century French settee is crafted in the Louis XVI taste, showcasing a beautifully carved walnut frame with restrained neoclassical detailing. The gently rectilinear form, fluted and tapering legs, and finely carved apron reflect the balance and symmetry characteristic of the Louis XVI style.
The settee retains its classic proportions and elegant silhouette, complemented by shaped arms and a paneled back.
