About the Item
An outstanding and rare design, giltwood 19th century Napoleon III period Rococo revival settee, the padded back framed by scrolled supports, joined to the padded seat by freestanding, padded and buttoned outscrolled arms, raised on cabriole legs ending in pointed toes on brass casters.
Beautifully proportioned, with sublime detailing, dating to circa 1860.
