About the Item

Surrealist-Style textile settee with a folk art frame in original green paint. We've added a vintage textile in a rope print that gives it a one-of-a-kind look that we absolutely love. The tromp l'œil textile incorporates tones of olive green in two shades against a coral/rust background, with the cream color really creating the perfect crispness in the overall aesthetic. Solid wood Arts and Crafts built frame has graphic carvings with the perfect geometry, detailed with a scalloped back and ever so slightly rolled arms that maintain a tailored feel, in part due to the double-welt piping that punctuates every adjacency where the fabric meets the frame. Useful in an entry hall, as banquet seating, at the end of a bed, in a residential library, a conservatory or a whimsical sunroom.
