About the Item

1970’s Ludvik Volak Sea Green Reupholstered Bratislava Side Chairs. Sourced direct in the Czech republic, Volak is one of the most celebrated mid century designers best known for the organic room divider made by Drevopodnik Holesov. Volak was commissioned to make the Bratislava chair for the international airport of Slovakia. These mid century chairs are made with laminated beech frames and buttoned upholstery, our upholster has stripped the internal components and rebuilt and reupholstered them by hand. The chairs have been reupholstered in Sea Green Oxford Cotton Linen. Please note the chairs are not compliant with UK fire regulations and can only be sold outside the UK. Seat Height: 38cm We hold large stocks of original vintage chairs for private and commercial use. The price listed is for one chair and you can order any quantity subject to the maximum available. Workshop Report: Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
