About the Item
We are very pleased to offer a pair of sculptural chairs inspired in the works of Spanish painter Pablo Picasso, circa the 1970s. One of the most influential artists of the Twentieth Century, he is known for co-founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co-invention of collage, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore. Add a modern touch to your space with this whimsical pair. Steel with a matte black finish frames a custom, hand-painted bentwood seat based upon Picasso’s work. The striking cubist style work is painted in vibrant blends of green, blue, red yellow and gold. The backside of the armchairs is black. Both pieces are in good vintage condition consistent with age and wear. Please see all attached pictures.
