An early 19th Century, antique Austrian pair of Biedermeier side chairs made of hand crafted polished ebonized wood, in good condition. The detailed dining room chairs have a slightly inclined backrest in the shape of a pretzel, standing on four saber legs. Newly upholstered in a dark-blue, black velvet embellished with a diamond pattern. Restored, refurbished and hand polished. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1810 - 1820, Austria.
