A romantic pair of late 19th-century Louis XVI-style accent chairs, sourced in Provence and reupholstered in an expressive Chinoiserie-inspired cotton. The hand-carved frames feature oval backrests with refined tapered legs, fluted columns, and rosette detailing—each finished in a soft antique white with a naturally aged patina and subtle distressing throughout. Newly upholstered in a whimsical printed cotton that blends botanical and avian motifs—vines, stylized birds, and butterflies—rendered in a fresh, summery palette of pinks, greens, citrus, and pale blue. Each chair features a different section of the print, creating variation while maintaining a cohesive visual rhythm between the pair.A tailored finish includes tonal single piping along the back and a coordinating welt band around the seat.
