An exquisite pair of late 19th-century Louis XVI-style accent chairs, sourced in Provence and newly reupholstered in a richly expressive Chinoiserie-inspired cotton. The hand-carved frames feature oval backrests, fluted columns, rosette accents, and refined tapered legs—each finished in a soft antique white with a naturally aged patina and gentle distressing throughout. The whimsical printed cotton upholstery blends botanical and avian motifs—vines, stylized birds, and butterflies—set against a light green ground with tones of dark green, sky blue, navy, and beige. Each chair showcases a unique section of the fabric, offering variation while preserving a harmonious visual rhythm across the pair.
