A beautiful pair of carved scallop shell back hall chairs attributed to Gillows of Lancaster and London. This fine pair of chairs in oak displays wide panel seats and turned reeded column legs to the front and sabre leg to the back. The pair is strong and sturdy with a rich colour and patina throughout.
