About the Item

Sold and priced individually. A 1940s French fauteuil chair, defined by its Art Deco influenced silhouette. The rich, textured grain of the cerused oak highlights the angular frame, while sculpted armrests add a sense of fluidity. The seat retains its original deep burgundy leather upholstery. Condition: Good vintage condition. Wear and marks are present throughout the cerused wood veneer. The top edges of the chairs have chipped veneer, revealing the underlying wood layer. Reupholstery, new foam, and springs are recommended; we have chosen to sell these chairs in their current state so the end user can select their preferred fabric. Upholstery services are available through our showroom (Fabric + Upholstery Labor is not included in the purchase price).
