About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this is for an original solid Hardwood Anglo-Indian Burmese hand carved chair The condition is good, it has been restored to include having the frames checked, glued and clamped where required, there are no losses to the solid hand carved Rosewood frame so far as I can see The frame joints as mentioned have been checked and secured where needed, they are as solid as when they were first made and stable however I wouldn’t recommend this as an every day chair, more as its intended purposes which is decoration and conversation. We have cleaned waxed and polished the wood work from top to bottom Dimensions Height:- 89cm Width:- 54cm Depth:- 60cm Seat height:- 47.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
