About the Item

This elegant Mid-Century Modern ladder back chair is crafted from ebonized hardwood and features a gracefully tapered silhouette with four sculptural back slats. Attributed to Chiavari of Italy, it reflects the region’s tradition of lightweight, refined furniture. The tall, narrow profile is both delicate and striking, capped with turned finials. A gently curved seat, padded and upholstered in champagne leather, adds comfort and contrast. Slim legs with turned detailing and supportive stretchers complete the piece’s balanced, airy look.
