About the Item
Pair of tall ladder back dining side chairs in the style of Gio Ponti by Otto Gerdau, made in Italy. Each chair features a high back, with six horizontal slats, woven natural paper cord rush seats, and a handsome leg design with splayed back legs and ball feet on the front legs, supported by six stretchers giving a simple Tuscan countryside style and warm traditional appeal. A design style of mid-century modern mixed with traditional rustic and natural country. These are comfortable and lightweight chairs that can blend nicely with most settings. The chairs have a thin profile with smaller footprint which makes them great for tight spaces either as dinning chairs or occasional side chairs. In good condition nicks and scuffs to the wood surface.
