About the Item

A pair of antique folk art chairs, late 19th to early 20th century. One is a rare birthing chair with low broad seat and trefoil back cutout. The other, marked Made in Spain, is a rustic hall chair with plank back and free-form seat edge. Both with rich dark patina and strong vernacular presence. Birthing chair: 28″ H × 18″ W × 15″ D Hall chair: 32″ H × 15″ W × 14″ D Condition: Good — beautifully maintained with light, age-appropriate wear consistent with use and history.
