About the Item

A pair of antique Regency mahogany hall chairs, the oval backs with gadrooned scroll carving terminating with domed paterae and supported by a pair of carved scrolls. The tapered boarded seats are supported by fluted turned and reverse sabre legs. In the manner of Gillows. The colour and condition is first class. English, circa 1810 - 1825
