About the Item

An unusual pair of 18th Century Mahogany Side Chairs. The top rails with scroll ears and central carved splats of architectural design, with pad seats below and raised on square tapering legs with original pierced carved corner brackets and terminating in block feet, with joined stretchers. In good structurally sound condition, excellent colour and patination. No repairs or breaks. Circa 1760 H: 99 cm (39") W: 58 cm (22 13/16") D: 52 cm (20 1/2")
