Pair of French 19th century Louis XVI style giltwood carved Boudoir side chairs. The low giltwood carved frames with a padded tapered backrest crowned with carved crossed flaming torches and ribbon, flanked by a pair of corner finials, raised four fluted legs, Paris, circa 1890.
Note: Both chairs are in original condition. The fabric on these chairs is worn and stained and should be replaced.

Both chairs in original used condition with several touch-ups, distress and gilt-wear throughout exposing the red under-gilt base. They are being offered as "frames" as the silk fabric is worn and stained and should be replaced. Sold "As Is".
