Pink Stretch Chair

Carnevale Studio’s designs combine new materials with unusual processes. We strive to make work that is engaging and delightful. We produce furniture, lighting, interiors and accessories, working with manufacturers, interior designers and galleries around the world. Trained in industrial design at the Rhode Island School of Design, Jessica Carnevale then spent a decade as a designer (for Marcel Wanders, Tom Dixon) before launching her studio at Salone del Mobile in 2010 with a collection of neon latex chairs. She is happiest in the woodshop or the metalshop making prototypes, experimenting with new techniques - and each of her pieces is the result of these journeys of experimentation. Most recently she has been working with glass and it was these experiments (making her first neon lights) that sparked an interest in taking translucent materials further. The result is a collection of acrylic tables that are delicately colored, each one playing with light in ways that surprise and delight. Her work has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Casa Vogue, American Craft, Elle Decoration, Living Etc, House Garden, Time Style Magazine, L’Officiel, Wallpaper, Design Milk Domino Magazine. And her work has exhibited internationally at Salone del Mobile in Milan, The Chic Art Fair in Paris, Liberty of London and La Rinascente. Stateside Carnevale Studio has been shown at ICFF, MoMA design, Various Small Fires Gallery, NADA and in windows on Broadway.
