A mahogany side chair profusely carved throughout including reeding surrounding the shape back; a pierced opening at the top of the crest rail bordered by C-scrolls; the seat rails carved with egg and acanthus; high relief floral carving on the knees of the cabriole legs; and acanthus leaves on the scroll feet. The back and drop-in seat are covered in blue needlepoint. After a design by Mayhew and Ince.
