About the Item

This amazing chair is a reproduction of an 18th century Italian chair by Michel Angelo Pergolesi. It features a carved gilded pagoda / umbrella over two griffin heads emerging from a twisted cornucopia. The tapered legs splay outward and have gilded acanthus details throughout. The seat is a flax linen. The piece is marked with the manufacturer’s label, Currey Co.
