About the Item

This set of six French ash mutton leg side chairs or dining chairs from the mid-twentieth century are constructed using mortice and tenon joinery. Their curved fluted legs are joined by an X stretcher that provides additional stability. These tall dining chairs with arched backs are ready for reupholstery. The classic mutton leg or sheep bone chairs mix well with a wide variety of table styles, circa 1940.
