About the Item

The Tripolina is a folding chair characterized by a wooden frame, metal swivel joints, and a seat made from animal hide. Its design allows for easy folding and portability, making it suitable for various settings.​ The chair is a handcrafted in Rome by Dario Alfonsi, inspired by 19th-century designs from J.B. Fenby and traditional Berber chairs. It features black vegetable-tanned leather and solid teak wood. The organic Icelandic sheepskin pictured in the photo, is added as a decorative throw and is included with the price of the chair.
