Magnificent and rare pair of Art Deco Amsterdamse School side chairs.
The iconic design of this lovely pair is in the style of Eibink
Snellebrand, two famous Amsterdamse School architects.
Striking Dutch design from the 1920s.
Solid oak,open back with rectangular padded backrest flanked on either side by carved toprail and plain uprights extending into the legs and stepped toward the base, square padded seat with canted corners above frieze carved with geometrical motifs, upholstered in red faux leather.
This wonderful pair of Art Deco Amsterdamse School side chairs is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
