About the Item

A rare design slipper chair of compact proportions, covered in well-aged, possibly original buttoned leather. A highly desirable and sought after model. England, circa 1860. Why we like it Very comfortable and well-drawn, this early example of a low or slipper chair is amazing for smaller spaces and grander rooms alike. Its beautifully aged, patrician look will suit both classical and modern interiors.
