Ico Parisi swivel office chair for Mim Roma of the 60s. Product n good condition with wear caused by years and use. Please carefully view the attached images. Ico Parisi A pupil of Giuseppe Terragni, Ico Parisi (1916-1996) is renowned for being one of the main authors of the Italian furniture style of the 1950s. A multifaceted spirit that conceived design as part of a whole with art and architecture, from 1947 began to sign his production together with his wife Luisa in the studio The Wheel of Como. Among the most emblematic furnishings of the couple stand out the tables with aerodynamic lines, with X or Y legs culminating in brass awls, for the period already very modern and back in fashion in contemporary décor. From the egg armchairs for Cassina to the furniture for Stildomus, their works embrace several fields, distinguished by an elegant plasticity that also caught the attention of the American company Singer and Son of New York, the first, in the 50s, to export overseas Parisi furniture.
