The 1960s marked a period of transition in European furniture design, when modernism began to move away from the strict functionalism of the postwar years, seeking instead to create interiors that felt bolder, more tactile, while still attuned to human comfort. Due to the nature and age of the materials, the chairs may have some marks, scratches, and discolouration. The chairs have also recently been reupholstered in premium ponyskin.
