About the Item
A 1940s Danish channel tufted banana sofa. Chunky curved mahogany legs mimics the shape of the sofa supporting a curvy frame upholstered in new sheepswool. The back accented with channel tufting. A beautiful example of timeless danish design. This sofa would compliment pieces made by Gio Ponti, Edward Wormley, Vladimir Kagan, RobsJohn Gibbings, Harvey Probber Finn Juhl, Hans Wegner and others.

Dimensions: 60.5” Wide 27.5” High 32.5” Deep 15.5” Seat Height
Condition: Very good condition. Upholstered in new sheepswool. Coil spring system is springy and you sink in to the sofa. Original finish to the mahogany legs.
