We are delighted to offer for sale this exceptionally rare original 1950s cigar brown leather chesterfield club sofa in restored condition with feather filled cushions
This is a very rare find, you almost never come across mid 20th century Chesterfield club sofas with the period correct leather unless it’s in pieces. This sofa is just about as timeless as you could ever hope to find in terms of the lines look, feel and model, the sofa has a wonderful distressed patina and has been stripped back and then hand dyed this wonderful cigar brown colour. The feet have been specially made for this sofa, they are solid hand turned walnut and have been fitted with metal axels so you can unscrew and remove them
The leather hide as mentioned is totally original, it has all original patina marks as you would expect based on the age and fair use
