Early 19th Century Swedish Gustavian style pine sofa of bench from Hälsingland. An extendable sofa ‘daybed’ featuring a stylish sunburst-patterned backrest, exemplifying elegant Gustavian design. Retains its beautiful patina and traces of the original and older paint. The two seat planks are individual and removable. With significant restoration.
