About the Item
This four-seater, designed in the early 1980s by Luigi Sormani and Casabella Miami for a line of maxi-furniture destined to the United States is a comfortable one-block sofa for a luxury villa. The structure is in a warm gray leather and the fabric was especially made for this series called "Intrigue": a special very light grey silk fabric interwoven with burgundy leather threads. All cushions have grey leather inlays, entirely hand sewn. Julio Iglesias had one of these sofas.
The sofa is in perfect condition and the cushions in perfect shape. A few minor scratches and a slight discoloring on the back, practically invisible.
The cushions and the structure bear the famous Sormani lining and the sofa comes with a “Certificate of Authenticity” on original vintage letterhead of the manufacturer.
