High-quality, elegantly designed "Aluline" armchair produced by Strässle International in the 1960s, made of cast aluminum and brown leather. A timeless and very comfortable armchair designed by Andre vanden Beuck. The love seat is in excellent condition. We also have the sofa for sale. André Vandenbeuck (1931 - ), is a French designer His Unica armchair and Unica chaise longue models are in the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs Paris. From 1965 to 1999 André Vandenbeuck designed seating exclusively for Strässle. Strässle International was a prestigious Swiss furniture manufacturer, famous in the mid-20th century for its high-quality, designer items, especially the iconic armchairs and chairs, collaborating with renowned designers such as Paul Tuttle, André Vandenbeuck and Hans Eichenberger, known for creations such as the "Granny" rocking chair, the 'Aluline' and "Zeta" armchairs, which combined comfort, innovative materials and Space Age aesthetics.
