About the Item

A rare Bauhaus three-seater sofa produced by Slezák in Czechoslovakia during the 1930s. The sofa features a chrome-plated tubular steel frame combined with wooden elements, embodying the functionalist and modernist ideals of the Bauhaus movement. The piece has been professionally cleaned and polished. The wooden components have been treated with a special wood oil to revive and protect the surface. The sofa remains in original vintage condition with visible signs of age and use consistent with its period. A highly collectible example of early modernist Central European furniture, suitable for both private interiors and curated design spaces.
