Kvadrat’s iconic fabric, Hallingdal, enhances the stylish and contemporary essence of The Fave Chair by NORR11. Originally designed in 1965 by Nanna Ditzel, Hallingdal has become the archetype of woollen textiles and is now available in an updated color scale as Hallingdal 65. This durable upholstery fabric is made from a blend of wool and viscose, with wool providing excellent durability and flexibility, and viscose adding brilliance and depth to the color. Both materials are dyed before spinning, highlighting the fabric's rich texture.
The essence of crisp and cool. Representing a new genre within the NORR11 universe, the series signals the opening of a new horizon. The name ‘Fave’ is a nod to the 80s, serving as a link to the series’ design inspiration but reinterpreted in a contemporary way. Like a blast from the past, but in the best way possible.
