A custom-made new edition of this classic love-seat sofa by Danish designer and cabinetmaker: Alfred Christensen. This re-edition is produced under license in Sweden by Dagmar and available to order in a range of upholstery and wood finishes.

Alfred Christensen made his name as lead designer, cabinetmaker and owner of the famed furniture makers: Slagelse Møbelværk which he founded with his brother Alfred in 1931. As head of design, he had a great eye for up and coming architects in Denmark, commissioning work from the likes of: Arne Vodder, Kurt Olsen, Ib Kofod-Larsen and Nils
Eva Koppel. His own designs epitomised the middle-ground between classical and modernist styles which defined the post-war period in Denmark. He had a particular talent for creating functional yet sophisticated upholstered sofas and armchairs and as a manufacturer Slagelse became renowned for their quality of craftsmanship
