About the Item

Danish Modern Leather and Rosewood Sofa by Eran, 1960s. Fantastic Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern large three-seater sofa designed and manufactured by Erhardsen Andersen (Eran) Denmark in the late 1960s. This model was top of line from Eran, made from the very best and most expensive materials and it was often used in advertisement for the company. A rare find in this very fine original condition. The design is low and wide which epitomize Danish design in the 1960s. Very high quality buffalo leather in a rich chocolate brown. Frame and legs carved of solid rosewood/palisander with beautiful expressive grain and color. Very comfortable with soft fibre filled cushions. well made and solid construction. Excellent vintage condition with only light patina consistent with age and limited use. Small holes to fabric under the cushions, please see photo. Ready for use.
