We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare original Victorian mahogany framed sofa with removable Kilim covers and feather filled cushions
This is an exquisite sofa, I have never seen another of its type before, it has large oversized arms, beautifully mahogany turned front legs finished with castors. The covers are perfect condition nicely aged Kilims, they have been upholstered by a genius, he has matched the pattern from the back rest to the cushions, the cushions pattern also matches side by side then back down to the base of the frame, it would have been complicated and skilled work
We have cleaned waxed and polished the timber, the covers are in fine order, they can be removed as mentioned for washing should the new owner wish
