About the Item
Luxurious vintage corner sofa in wood and silk satin designed in the 1940s of fine Italian manufacture.
The sofa is angular and is supported by a wonderfully elegant and durable dark wood frame. In fact, we see 2 wider feet supporting the back, while there are 3 other slender spike feet also made of dark wood.
The seat is simple, angular and is upholstered in green silk satin with a dark and light green striped pattern, giving it an eccentric yet refined effect.
Under the seat is a band decorated with fringes, also in a very light green shade.
The highlight of the piece is its backrest: it is reminiscent of a regal sofa.
In fact, the backrest at the sides is lower and curved and following an imaginary S rises upwards, narrowing towards the centre, emphasising the central angular part, giving the appearance of a throne. The highest part of the backrest has two very elegant decorative curly elements. In addition, the backrest is made of the same fabric as the seat, but with a punched weave, with central buttons.
The back of the sofa, on the other hand, creates a square corner that can be adapted to any corner.
The sofa is ideal for important, luxurious and chic rooms. For an extra touch of exuberance!
