About the Item
This exquisite Swedish Chesterfield sofa, dating back to the early 1900s, offers both luxurious style and timeless craftsmanship. Measuring a generous 247 cm in length, it features plush upholstery in rich egg yolk mohair velvet from Rose Uniacke, creating a striking contrast between opulence and comfort. The sofa rests elegantly on four beautifully matched turned mahogany legs, accented with brass wheels for a touch of classic refinement. A perfect blend of Swedish design heritage and refined modern luxury, this piece is sure to become a statement focal point in any interior.
The sofa was fully reupholstered and is presented in very good vintage condition. Since upholstery the sofa has not been used. I can provide a fabric sample on request. The legs do show age and have several, dents and marks as would be expected from a 100+ year old piece.
