About the Item
Beautiful and very elegant Danish 1950s curved two-seat sofa raised on a beech frame and legs. These type of sofas was manufactured from the 30's and up through the early 50's. This model is from around 1935-40 and is raised on the block legs that are the most coveted today. Solid construction with springs in the seat and the backrest for support and cushioning. The sofa was re-upholstered at a later point and the wool wool fabric is in good clean usable condition showing just minor wear. These increasingly sought after late deco period designed sofas have a great presence about them with alluring low swung very organic lines.
We are able to offer re-upholstery services for this sofa and are able to re-upholster for an additional in shearling or lambswool at very competitive prices.
