Marco Comolli for I.C.F. De Padova, two-seat sofa, in walnut and taupe leather, Italy, 1965
A highly comfortable sofa by Marco Comolli due to down filling and well-designed proportions. The back is structured in a vertical manner by means of cognac leather straps that hold the cushions. The construction is strong, sincere and basic, the friendly curved frame emphasizes its floating appearance. This item shows great resemblance with the furniture of Clara Porset and Hector Aguilar.
Kindly note that the leather is in used condition with signs of age and use. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
