Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale one of two fully restored, deep seated, George Smith Signature Scroll Arm sofas with feather filled base cushions upholstered with the original Heritage brown leather which has been custom hand dyed this one of a kind whisky /cigar brown colour Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price I have another of these which is the same model but much larger, it has also been fully restored to the same standard and is listed under my other items Well, where to begin! This sofa is the absolutely finest quality available today, it has a beech and oak frame that has fiber padding to the back, these come in three depths and this is on the medium size, the seat cushions are huge, the are overstuffed with down feathers, the backs of the cushions insert under the backrest of the sofa meaning you are never sitting on the edge of the cushion, this stops it sagging and offers a more comfortable seat The upholstery is super luxurious heritage leather, its upholstered plain then hand dyed, this s Condition wise, this sofa is the only one in the entire world with this exact colour finish, it was originally hand dyed brown leather, it has then been fully restored by a Ralph Lauren trained leather polisher, he has stripped the old colour out, hand dyed it six times, antiqued it, sealed it and then waxed it down, the end result is a very unique and desirable sofa. The work has been done in such a way so as to leave in the original patination and charm, the idea being to keep the sofa looking as vintage as possible, but bring the colour and finish to life so they look straight out of a Victorian gentleman's club.
