About the Item

Designer Michael Taylor designed four seat sofa from his Far East Collection by Baker Furniture Co. Dark brown Shoji style stained frame, seat and back cushions are down filled. This sofa has been reupholstered at some point, has a few stains, as seen in photos, I would suggest re-upholstery if perfection is desired. I can proved a re-upholstery and refinishing quote if requested. Back of sofa frame is faded a little more than rest of frame, some scuffs to frame, otherwise solid. The red stripe Far-East sofa is sold, used for example of nicer contrast with colored fabric. Michael Taylor Winsor White designers Michael Taylor Furniture was founded by Michael Taylor in 1957 in San Francisco, California. Taylor was a prominent interior designer who is credited with helping to establish the California Look, a style characterized by a combination of casual elegance and sophistication. Taylor's furniture designs were inspired by his travels and were heavily influenced by Asian. Thus his 1950's Far East Collection for Baker Furniture. Measures: Seat depth is 21.5".
