About the Item

Beautiful D70 Sofa designed by Osvaldo Borsani in 1954 for Tecno, presented at the X Triennale in 1954 and patented in the USA in 1956. It is in excellent condition and has been reupholstered with a beautiful original dark blue iridescent fabric. The mechanical parts and the metal structure are in very good condition with light pleasant patina attesting to their originality. D70 is the original movable wing sofa distinguished by the cult mechanism that allows for a wide range of positions between the seat and back, up to the complete reversibility of the same. The series of adjustable movements go from fully closed to fully opened to a bed.
