We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare and highly collectable Mid-Century Modern Elm five piece modular suite of armchairs with a sofa A very rare and collectable set, this was designed in the 1960’s, its upholstered in brown fabric which can easily be replaced as its just cushions. The suite is fully modular, as such you can run it as a normal three piece suite, two armchairs and one three seat sofa, the arms to the armchairs pop off and then you have a four or five seat sofa or five matching armchairs. The suite can be packed away into one pile of wood as the back rests also all remove so everything can be stacked away in a corner Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished the timber, the upholstery is solid and stable however it does have some water marks Dimensions pair of armchairs with removable arms Height:- 64.5cm Width:- 97cm Depth:- 76cm Seating dimensions for a single armchair Height:- 64.5cm Width:- 1 chair - 72.5cm, 2 chairs 145cm, 3 chairs 217.5cm, 4 chairs 290cm, 5 chairs 362.5cm Depth:- 76cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
