The chair retains its nature farmhouse red base, adorned with Telemark rosemaling folk painting, and includes a second seat plate and partial repainting dated to 1914 on the back side—adding a documented layer of its long history. Showing a beautifully aged patina, the chair remains in solid antique condition with expected age-related characteristics, including small damages, natural wood cracks and wear consistent with its centuries of use.
