About the Item

A well-patinated wooden artist studio stool with saddle seat, England, circa 1880. Comfortable and conforming seat is supported by turned, splayed legs and straight stretchers. Finely handcrafted, it displays a beautifully aged, uniform patina with remnants of paint throughout. A nicely postured, sturdy stool with great character.
