A very pretty 19th century Régence style piano stool in polished walnut, its padded cushion upholstered in a delicate needlepoint tapestry featuring a design of rosebuds and leaf sprays and secured all round with a nailhead trim. The banquette is supported by four cabriole legs, each embellished with an intricate floral carving that matches the central apron's motif, while the polished walnut is beautifully aged with an attractive and authentic patina. The graceful lines and warm colours of this adorable little bench would bring a touch of refinement to any music room or bedroom.
