A 19th century French shoe shine stool made of solid walnut. The upholstered seat opens to a felt lined interior for storing polish and brushes. Small drawer below with brass pull. Pegged construction and sturdy dovetailed frame. New brass hinges. Lock is not in working order. circa 1850-1870. 19.5"D x 13"W x 19"H.
